Moldavsky

Inés Moldavsky (b. Buenos Aires 1987) is an Argentinian-Israeli filmmaker, artist and scholar. Her work focuses on the interaction of gender, nationality, and sexuality. Her film The Men behind the Wall won the Golden Bear award at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival and was screened worldwide. The film was later expanded into a video installation exhibited in Porto National Gallery. She is currently working on a feature film Chronicles of a Summer in Palestine, which is a continuation and expansion on The Men behind the Wall.

In cooperation with the Jewish Film Festival Berlin | Brandenburg, Inés Moldavsky is invited to Berlin in June/July 2024 with a DAAD Arts and Media fellowship to present her short film The Men behind the Wall (2018) during her stay at the JFBB.
