Kedar

Hadas Kedar is an artist, curator, educator, and researcher. She is the co-founder of the Arad Art and Architecture residency program and the Arad Contemporary Art Center in the Negev Desert. Kedar is a faculty member at the Mandel Center for Leadership in the Negev, and a lecturer at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem where her current research reflects on how the academy and its neighboring institutions influence campus communities. Kedar received a BFA from Bezalel, MFA from Middlesex University (UK), and a PhD from the University of Reading (UK) and the Curatorial Studies program at ZHDK. She has participated in and curated exhibitions at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem; Camden Arts Centre, London; Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, and others. She works between Tel Aviv and Arad.

Hadas Kedar’s research residency at the Neue Sächsische Galerie in Chemnitz will take place in August 2024 within the framework of the DAAD Arts and Media program in partnership with Artis.
