Composer, conductor, researcher, and instrument inventor Carlos Gutiérrez presents his work at the UdK seminar (supervised by Daniel Ott and Mathias Hinke).
Carlos Gutiérrez had contact early on with the Bolivian Orquestra experimental de instrumentos nativos (OEIN) and has been involved with it ever since. He is now part of the lead collective of this unique ensemble that combines indigenous and contemporary music. He composes for amateur and professional ensembles, designs instruments, and teaches at the Bolivian Conservatorio plurinacional de Música. He is a 2018 guest of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.

This event is organized by the UdK in cooperation with the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.
