Kosmina
Born 1990 in Kyiv. In 2013, she graduated from the Kyiv National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Architecture. Co-founder of the Pylorama open collective urban intervention. In 2013, won a fellowship from the French Embassy to study at the National School of Architecture and Urban ENSAN in Nantes, France. From 2015 – Master of Architecture ENSAN. In 2014–15, internship at HUCA urban design and architectural offices, Nantes. In 2015–16, worked as an architect for FORMA ARCHITECTS, Kyiv. In 2016, participated in the self-organized artistic initiative DE NE DE. In 2016–18, worked for the architecture studio LOFT BURO, Kyiv. In 2017, joined the curatorial group Hudrada. In 2017, co-founded DA-Style Modernist Uniform. From 2018, collaborates with METASITU, an urban collective devoted to the exploration of new spatial pedagogies. Dana Kosmina represented the Ukrainian pavilion “Piazza Ucrania” at the Venice Biennale in 2022.
Dana Kosmina will be staying in Berlin in November/December 2022 with a fellowship from the DAAD Encounters with Ukrainian Artists Program and will participate in the series Peilung#3.
