Witzthum

Born in 1975 in Oxford (Great Britain), lives in Jerusalem; composer, poet, violist.

1996–99 music studies (viola and composition) at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City (USA), masters course amongst others under Tabea Zimmermann, Isaac Stern and Samuel Rhodes. 1999–2000 composition course at IRCAM in Paris. During his IRCAM residence he composed his first non instrumental work “and, yet” using two actors, light effects and electronic music.
