Lily Scherlis is an artist, writer, and researcher. Her work in video and performance lecture has been featured in programming at the Renaissance Society, the Gray Center for Arts and Inquiry, and the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts; her writing has appeared in Cabinet, Post45 Contemporaries, and is forthcoming in Parapraxis.
She is a PhD candidate in English and Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago, where she does ethnographic research on the culture industries.
Lily Scherlis will be in Berlin in June and July 2023 with a scholarship of the DAAD Arts and Media Program.
