Sound artist and performer Ragnhild May focuses in her work on the transitions between artificial and natural, human and machine, artwork and implement, material and immaterial. She approaches her investigative sound research with a healthy dose of humor and playfulness, underpinning it with music theories from various periods, feminist theory, computer technology, and physics. Ragnhild May will be coming to Berlin for September and October 2022 as a DAAD Arts & Media fellow. The residency is co-organized by Snyk, the Danish center for contemporary music and sound art, and is part of their Neustart program.
