Rodney
Graham

Born in 1949 in Abbotsford (Canada), lives and works in Vancouver. Film, photography, music, objects, performances, concept art. Rodney Graham is one of the main producers of every type of conceptual art which came out of Vancouver in the ‘70s. Literature and film appear in equal measures in the foundation of his perception analysis. In doing so, Rodney Graham appreciates different roles, with which he portrays his themes both playfully and with social historical intentions. In Europe he became known for the film “Vexation Island” (Canadian contribution to the Biennale of Venice 1997).
