With Theo Eshetu
On the occasion of the book launch of »The Body Electric«, a monography on the work of Theo Eshetu, the video–installation »Atlas Fractured« (2017) presented at this year’s documenta in Athens and Kassel will be screened and live–commented by Theo Eshetu. The screening will be followed by a conversation between Monika Szewcyk (member of the curatorial team of documenta 14) and the artist.
The Body Electric is the first comprehensive survey of Eshetu’s work, including text-contributions by Ariane Beyn, David Elliot, Okwui Enwezor, Wulf Herzogenrath and Monika Szewczyk. (Edited by Berliner Künstlerprogramm des DAAD, designed by Andreas Koch and published by Sternberg Press)
