With works by ba bau AIR

Green Papaya (Fellows Visual Arts 2024) have developed an ongoing programme of events under the title Translokalität/Translocality for the duration of their fellowship, in which they invite existing and new partners in Berlin to participate. In this context, the Hà Nội-based artist collective ba-bau AIR (fellows of the DAAD Arts Media Programme) was invited to participate in the Green Papaya programme with a takeover of the daadgalerie lasting several days during their research fellowship in Berlin. The result was the spatial installation Transcontinental Routes and Networks: Hoa Quỳnh Cinema and one Eternailty later.

This collaboration between Green Papaya and ba-bau AIR aims to promote the collectivity and networking of similar initiatives in Southeast Asia.
As part of Transcontinental Routes and Networks: Hoa Quỳnh Cinema and one Eternailty later, the interdisciplinary artist Kieu-Anh and the filmmakers Duy Anh and Cao Viet Nga from ba-bau AIR will be showing works by contemporary filmmakers from Vietnam on three consecutive evenings at the daadgalerie.

Green Papaya is awarded a collective grant thanks to a cooperation with the Matschinksy-Denninghoff Foundation under the umbrella of Berlinische Galerie.
