The Senegalese filmmaker, author and producer Rama Thiaw (Fellow 2024) believes in the power of cinema as a tool for change and an expression of social commitment. For this evening film session, she has selected two films from Senegal, her activist The Revolution Won’t Be Televised (2016) and a milestone of African cinema, Djibril Diop Mambéty’s Touki Bouki (1973).
