Event in the framework of the exhibition Małgorzata Mirga-Tas: Sivdem Amenge. I sewed for us.

This workshop is about the individual memory that shapes the collective memory.
Together, patchwork works will be created, for which own pieces of clothing can be included in the design. Through this work an attempt is made to go back in our own memory and to locate certain events in our consciousness. Our own experiences and memories of family life will play an important role in consolidating our identity(ies).
You are welcome to bring pictures of people and things that are important to you. Likewise, you can bring used clothing or fabric scraps that support these memories.
